LIMA stands for Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive. A LIMA Trainer or Behavior consultant uses the least intrusive, minimally aversive strategy from an effective and humane skillset in order to produce a behavioral change. This practice is a standard requirement for Trainers holding a CPDT Certification (Certified Professional Dog Trainer).

Our head trainer and owner, Erika, graduated With Distinction from  CATCH Academy in 2023 and currently holds the CCDT title. Erika holds a current First Aid and CPR for Pets certificate recognized by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She is currently working toward the CPDT title through the CCPDT.
